A Field Support Engineer must respond to all client queries. This position may require working after hours as well as a presence on-site as required. Network Maintenance
Support Engineers ensure that client networks operate consistently and efficiently. They confirm consistent up-time of enterprise routers, servers, and networks. They engage in routine maintenance checkup as well. With the advent of cloud-based services, keeping the network up and running has become more important to the enterprise than previous.

Most of us know that a field technician attends to things like machinery installation and repair. Yet, few people realize the classifications to which field technicians adhere. In general terms though, a technician with a higher class has more knowledge.

While a field technician IV will oversee any technical project, then, a field technician II will perform skilled and semi-skilled jobs for the smooth running of machines for anything from IT to telecommunication purposes.
With technology forever advancing, there’s certainly no risk of field technician jobs becoming obsolete. Despite a slight dip in the requirement of things like installation, the increasing use of systems like the Internet of Things means that field technicians should soon see rising levels of business.
